Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow
I will always be sentimental about WHITE WAVE, it is the first place I worked (read: began as a volunteer) when I took a leap into the arts world. I’m happy about my former staff members’ upcoming, exciting adventures, though I’m still sad to see them go.
Stephanie – thank you for teaching me the correct pronunciation of “gala.” Also about fairness, generosity, clear communication and thorough planning. I wish I had more time to learn from you.
Min Jin – thank you for the ramen noodle bowl you recommended. It’s the best deal at the supermarket for $1! Thank you for your patience and humor, it truly was a pleasure.
Hyemee – our time together was brief, but I appreciated your hospitality. I hope all is well at your new job!
Micky (last but not least) – you are like a little, older brother. Fridays will not be the same without you, and I shall miss you, but I’m counting on you to get dessert soon.

The last day of our fall dance festivals is this Sunday. We have a very special performance, post-Hurricane Sandy. If you join us, we promise you won’t regret it!
